IGNITE FUEL: A Family-Inspired Journey

The inspiration for IGNITE FUEL Elite Athlete EAA's was born from Samantha’s personal experiences and desire to keep her children rooted in the hockey world for years after they have finished their careers.  Providing them with an opportunity to give back to the community that raised them to be the wonderful individuals they are today.    Balancing a full-time executive career, entrepreneurial ventures, caring for her children, and advocating for vulnerable children worldwide, Samantha faced the challenge of properly fueling her family’s active lifestyles for peak performance, recovery, and brain health.

Recognizing the unique nutritional needs of high-performance athletes, Samantha and her eldest son, Jaxon and second eldest Lilly,  set out to revolutionize the way athletes and families fuel their bodies.

Samantha Almas is a powerhouse entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the health and wellness industries. Known for her keen eye for innovation and ability to spot market gaps, she has built IGNITE FUEL from the ground up—creating high-quality, Health Canada-approved supplements designed to fuel elite performance.

Beyond business, IGNITE FUEL is a family-driven venture,  where Samantha leads by example, teaching her children the real-world lessons of entrepreneurship—ones they could never learn in a classroom.  From product development to marketing, sales, and perseverance, she’s showing them firsthand what it takes to build something from nothing.

Jaxon Koehler – IGNITE FUEL Business development Partner, Elite Athlete & Mentor

Jaxon Koehler is a dedicated athlete and passionate mentor who knows what it takes to perform at the highest level. His journey has been built on discipline, sacrifice, and an unrelenting commitment to success—both on and off the ice.

Now, as a partner in IGNITE FUEL, Jaxon is channeling his experience into helping athletes train harder, recover faster, and push their limits with IGNITE FUEL. A science-backed, Health Canada-approved supplement designed for the entire family providing elite results. He understands the demands of high-level competition because he’s lived it, and he’s using that knowledge to fuel the next generation of champions.

While hockey remains a major part of his life, Jaxon is also balancing a full-time post-secondary education with his passion for coaching. Currently, he is helping to coach the Vaughan Rangers U12 hockey team, passing down his knowledge and leadership to young athletes. Juggling the demands of college, coaching, and business, Jaxon is proving that success comes from time management, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth.

His goal isn’t just to excel in his own pursuits—it’s to inspire and mentor the next generation, showing them that with the right mindset, anything is possible. For Jaxon, success isn’t just about personal achievements; it’s about lifting others up and igniting greatness in those who dare to chase it.

Lilly Koehler – IGNITE FUEL Marketing & Social Media Partner, Elite Athlete & Girl Power in Action

Lilly Koehler is the definition of drive, determination, and girl power.  As a high-level hockey player, full-time student, and business partner at IGNITE FUEL, she is proving that with the right mindset, anything is possible.

From Passion Project to IGNITE TRAINING Corporation

In 2022, we founded IGNITE TRAINING Corporation, inspired by our family journey. This endeavor provides young athletes with the tools they need to succeed. It has become a beacon of hope for families navigating some of the nutritional challenges of high level sports.

Through our volunteer work and fundraising efforts, this family channels their passion and resources to make a meaningful difference for vulnerable women and  children, showcasing the transformative power of kindness and generosity.
